About the Role:

At Micro AI, we help leading global brands build smarter, more intuitive technology. As an E-commerce Product & Search Relevancy Expert, your mission is to train AI systems to understand what “good shopping sense” looks like. You’ll act as the human filter that ensures online shoppers see products that truly fit together instead of mismatched or confusing recommendations.

Think of yourself as the curator behind the curtain, making sure digital shelves don’t turn into chaotic wardrobes.

What You’ll Do:

Create Product Pairings
Match items based on color, design, texture, and style so recommendations feel visually and aesthetically aligned.

Check Compatibility
Ensure products genuinely work together in real-world use cases. For example, distinguishing between gear suited for gravel biking versus road cycling, or ensuring accessories match the correct technical setup.

Review Metadata Logic
Evaluate attributes like gender targeting, pricing tier, seasonality, and product positioning to ensure recommendations make commercial and contextual sense.

Maintain Data Quality
Organize and validate product match lists, ensuring they follow strict category rules and brand consistency standards.

Conduct Category Research
Quickly understand new product domains and niche differences (like fitness equipment, cycling subtypes, skiing gear) to make accurate matching decisions.

Qualification Path

Mandatory Requirements:

* Experience: Background in search relevance, product categorization, e-commerce annotation, or content moderation is strongly preferred
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field
* Analytical Ability: Fast learner with the ability to understand technical product differences across categories
* Attention to Detail: Strong eye for visual harmony, pricing logic, and subtle mismatches
* Efficiency: Comfortable working with large product datasets and high-volume SKU environments
* English Level: Minimum B1 (Intermediate) for reading documentation and product specifications

Assessment

Applicants will complete a subject-specific qualification exam to evaluate suitability for the role, along with standard identity verification procedures.
