At Micro AI, we are building systems that don’t just process language, but understand its soul. As a Computational Linguist, you act as a linguistic architect inside our global AI community, shaping how machines interpret human expression across cultures, dialects, and writing systems.

Your work sits at the intersection of language science and machine learning, ensuring that AI models capture not only grammar, but meaning, tone, and cultural nuance. From syntax to slang, your insights help models sound less robotic and more human in the way they communicate.

Key Responsibilities:

Linguistic Output Analysis
Perform detailed reviews of AI-generated text to assess grammatical accuracy, semantic consistency, and natural language flow.

Guideline Development & Refinement
Help design and improve linguistic rules that guide AI understanding of dialects, idioms, regional expressions, and culturally specific phrasing.

Dataset Creation for Model Training
Contribute to Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) projects by building or annotating high-quality datasets that reflect the structural complexity of real-world language use.

Multilingual & Script Analysis
Evaluate AI handling of diverse writing systems (including right-to-left scripts) and provide feedback on linguistic accuracy, rendering behavior, and comprehension gaps.

Qualification Path

Mandatory Requirements:

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, or related field
* Language: Native-level fluency in at least one language
* English Proficiency: Minimum B1 (Intermediate) level for understanding technical documentation and guidelines

Assessment

Applicants will complete identity verification to assess suitability for the program.

Compensation

* Pay range: $18 – $22 USD per hour
* Payment structure varies depending on project assignment and scope
